The Business Administration Department provides students with diverse career paths in the business world. Our programs include two-year degrees in Accounting, Administrative Office Technology, General Business, Management, Paralegal Studies, and Supply Chain Management. We also offer certificates in Accounting Clerk, Advanced Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management Specialist, Medical Administrative Office Specialist, Microsoft Office Application Professional, Payroll/Income Tax, and Virtual Office Management.

To earn a degree or certificate, students must complete the required credit hours with a minimum “C” average. Certificate programs are designed for students aiming to enter the workforce within one year. Graduates of our programs find employment in various fields, including accounting, front office management (such as medical practices), general management, business ownership, the paralegal field, and supply chain management.

Students who complete the two-year Accounting Degree, Accounting Clerk Certificate, or Payroll/Income Tax Certificate may be eligible for certification exams from the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), the Accreditation Council for Accountancy (ACAT), or the American Payroll Association (APA). Certification exam availability and costs vary based on the degree or certificate achieved.

To meet student needs, the Business Administration Department offers courses in various modalities. For added convenience, we provide a staffed open computer lab (A208) with day and evening hours as posted on the lab door. The lab computers offer access to the software used in Business Administration and Information Technology courses.
