Allied Health Services Certificate (CT.RADAH 71357)


The Allied Health Services certificate is designed for students seeking a career in the field of health care. The program contains courses in blood collection and electrocardiography (ECG). Graduates of this program will be eligible to sit for national certification exams for phlebotomy and ECG. Graduates of this program with an overall GPA of 2.5 may seek admission to the Radiologic Technology degree program.

To be eligible for admission into the Rad Tech program, students must earn a grade of ‘B’ or higher in both BIO 210 and BIO 211. Students who receive a grade of  ‘C.’ ‘D,’ ‘F,’ ‘W,’ or ‘WF’ in either course on two attempts will not be eligible to apply to the Rad Tech program. A waiting period of five (5) years is required before retaking BIO 210 or BIO 211 to achieve the required grade of B or better for program admission eligibility.
