Nurse Assistant ECG Technician Certificate (CT.NAECG 61272)

The Nurse Assistant ECG Technician certificate program (CT.NAECG) gives students a “hands-on” approach to patient interaction. This certificate is a one semester, 11-credit hour credential which contains coursework in Medical Vocabulary/Anatomy, Responding to Emergencies (First Aid and American Heart Association CPR), Nursing Assistance, and Electrocardiography. This certificate is a stackable credential for those students who choose to continue their training toward the Patient Care Technician (CT.PCT) or Associate of Applied Science in General Technology Degree, specializing in Patient Care Technician (AAS.GT.CTPCT). It provides a variety of employment options as a Nurse Aide, Nurse Assistant, and/or ECG Technician upon graduation.
